Bio:  Gail M. Burns was born and raised in New York City and moved to Williamstown, Massachusetts, in 1980. She is a graduate of The Brearley School and Sarah Lawrence College. A life-longer theatre-lover, Gail wrote and staged her first play at the age of 14. She has worked in the theatre in a variety of capacities ever since. At Sarah Lawrence she studied with Shirley Kaplan and the late Wilford Leach.
