COPAKE – The reviews are in, and Taconic Stage Company’s new musical, “I Know I Came In Here For Something... (The Middle-aged Musical!)” is keeping them laughing – so much so that it has been held-over three times. Three additional weekends have been added to the performance schedule.

Tickets are currently available for performances on Aug. 7, 14, 21 and 22. The show includes full buffet dinner with cash bar at 7 p.m., show at 8:30 p.m. Cost is only $30 for dinner and show. The Lighthouse Marina and Restaurant is located at 351 Lakeview Drive, Copake Lake (Craryville) 12521.

“I Know I Came in Here for Something…” is Carl Ritchie’s brand new musical revue celebrating the ups and downs of middle age. Twenty-five original songs are performed by the versatile and talented cast of Diedre Devere Bollinger, David L. Greene, Cathy Lee-Visscher and Brian Litscher. They sing and dance in an evening of silliness, poignancy – and more silliness! A sample of the reviews: “A colorful, swiftly paced, zippity-doo-dah production…crisp and cleanly paced. [Ritchie] definitely knows what and where the laughs are, and there are a lot of them.” - The Register-Star.

“Very funny show…Ritchie’s script and songs, with music by Wayne Moore, are clever and funny…Very touching.” - Lakeville (CT) Journal.

“My face hurt from laughing!” - Several happy theatre-goers.

The seats at family-sized tables are filled as reservations come in, and parties of eight to 12 may reserve their own table. The theatre is small - there are no bad seats. All tickets can be prepaid by check after calling to reserve. The bar is open before and after the show and during intermission, at which time dessert will be laid out. Dessert is being catered by Sinful Confections.
