December 12, 2008 - Hudson, NY Stageworks/Hudson, which is known for its ground breaking and adventurous theater productions and programs, has two new additions to its management team. Cultivating a new generation of arts administrators for the sustainability of Stageworks, Jennifer Schilansky and Aaron Enfield have joined the staff of Stageworks.

Jennifer Schilansky, who worked with Stageworks last season as the company stage manager for Gutenberg! The Musical!, Souvenir, Falling: A Wake and Play by Play, will take the position of Producing Associate in charge of Development. Prior to coming to Stageworks, Schilansky worked at HSBC in Catskill as a Customer Service Representative. She holds a BA in Theater from Lycoming College in Williamsport, PA.

Aaron Enfield began his association with Stageworks four years ago designing costumes for Dog Stories, A Wedding Story and several Plays by Play festivals. He now joins the company as Producing Associate in charge of Marketing and PR. Previously, Enfield divided his time between Hudson and NYC where he was a part of the producing team for HX Media’s Gay Life and Gay and Lesbian Travel Expos. Prior to his move to Hudson, he was the Contracts Manager and Managing Director of the New Plays Festival at Proctors Theater in Schenectady. He holds a BA in Theater from the University at Albany, Albany, NY.

“I am thrilled to have Jennifer and Aaron join the management staff of Stageworks,” comments Artistic Director, Laura Margolis. “They are enthusiastic, talented theater professionals who think outside the box and at the same time, are grounded in their knowledge of what makes Stageworks special. Jennifer and Aaron will be instrumental in both the growth of Stageworks and in strengthening the role of the performing arts in Columbia County.”

Stageworks/Hudson begins its 15th year in 2009. Enjoying its sixth season at its Cross Street home in Hudson, Stageworks has been recognized as the “Best Theater Company” by Metroland Magazine for continuing to bring regional, American and world premieres of the highest quality to the Mid-Hudson Valley and Capital Region.
