2009 Ticket Prices Remain Level and Discounts Available

Everybody is feeling the pinch, so to help those wanting first-class professional musical theatre entertainment this summer, The Mac-Haydn Theatre is keeping ticket prices the same as 2008. Tickets for evening performances are $28 and $27; matinee seats are $26.

In addition to regular discounts for senior citizens, and a $12 price for children under 12, Mac-Haydn offers discounts for groups of 40 people and over.

Special discounts include the Delightful Dozen: $2 off per ticket for groups of 12 or more people (at evening performances only).

Student Rush tickets, at $14, will be available all season for any seats available at 1/2 hour before showtime, purchased at the box office window only -- a student identification card must be shown. This discount will not be available for Footlose; special pricing will be in effect for that show.

Times-Union Source Card holders will also receive $2 off. The order must be placed at the window and the card presented at the time of ordering.

Mac-Haydn discount tickets will also be available at the Berkshire Visitors Bureau Half-Price outlets in Columbia and Berkshire counties. Select tickets are offered for sale at half-price the day of the performance.

All discounts are subject to ticket availability, and only one discount is honored per ticket. We can't wait to see you in the first of our next 40 years! Professional performers and artistic staff will be coming to Chatham from all over the country to create shows in Mac-Haydn's unique theatre-in-the-round space.

Season subscriptions are available, and single show reservations are being taken. Please take note of the new performance times on Saturdays! 2009 performance times are: First week, Thursday at 2 and 8 p.m., Friday at 8 p.m., Saturday at 4 and 8 p.m., and Sunday at 2 and 7 p.m. Second week: Wednesday at 2 and 8 p.m., Thursday and Friday at 8 p.m., Saturday at 4 and 8 p.m., Sunday at 2 and 7 p.m.

There is a $4.50 handling fee per each ticket order. Mastercard and Visa are welcome. No cancellations or refunds. Fully air-conditioned. Call 518-392-9292 for information and reservations.
